My Ships> HMS BoreasHMS BoreasThe ship I commanded during the Peace. She was a 6th rate frigate with 28 guns and launched at Blaydes and Hodgson's Yard, Hull in 1774. The Boreas did not take part in any notable actions. She was converted into a slop ship in 1797 and sold out of the service in 1802. |
