Emma and Horatia

This section is devoted to the two people I hold most dear in the world - my beloved Emma and our daughter Horatia.

Horatia was born on 29 January 1801. A finer child was never produced by any two persons. She was in truth a love-begotten child. I shall cherish her to the last moments of my life.
